2019 Chardonnay - Price $25.00
I made this Chardonnay my way - picked early to preserve natural freshness. Gently pressed and fermented and aged six months in used French to give texture and just a subtle hint of oak. Only fours barrels were made. The result is a refreshing Chardonnay with flavours of butterscotch, stone fruit and a hint of citrus.

Picked in late March, gently pressed and fermented and aged in French barriques. I love Pinot Gris for its savoury freshness, and I think I nailed it. The result: a tasty, refreshing wine with flavours of nectarines and green apples.

2020 RIESLING - Price $22.50
Made in a dry style, this Riesling was picked in late March, pressed gently and fermented in old barriques using indigenous yeast. The result is a mineral, dry wine with flavours of apricots and gooseberries and a hint of flint.
AMBRE NATURE - Price $25.00 (no added sulfites)
Single vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Macedon Ranges aged for 10 years in barriques without the addition of any sulfites. If you like natural wine with zingy acidity and a splash of hazelnut, this is your wine. The wine has not been fined or filtered and no added sulfites.

2020 RED PET NAT - Price $27.50 - Available Mid-September 2020
Sparkling wine made the natural way: no added sulfites, indigenous yeast and unfiltered. Pinot Noir hand-picked at the end of March destemmed and left on skins for 24 hours. Then gently pressed and barrel fermented. Just before the fermentation finished, the wine was bottled giving it a natural sparkle and slight sediment. A refreshing sparkling wine with flavours of fresh raspberries and red currants.
NV PET NAT AMBRE - Price $27.50 - Available Mid-September 2020
PET NAT with a twist. Macedon Ranges Chardonnay and Pinot Noir aged for 10 years in barriques without the addition of any sulfites. A little Riesling juice was added to restart the fermentation. Just before the fermentation finished, the wine was bottled. The result, a wine with zingy acidity and a complexity matching any vintage champagne but without the sulfites. Flavours of peach, notes of hazelnuts and a hint of lemon peel.
2020 NEBBIOLO ROSÉ - Strathbogie Ranges - Price $25.00
Made with 100% single vineyard Nebbiolo. Picked in March, gently pressed and barrel fermented with indigenous yeast. Only three barrels were made. A dry, fruit-driven rosé great with food or just on its own. This wine is fresh and mineral with flavours of red cherries and a hint of rose petals.
2015 GRENACHE - HEATHCOTE - SOLD OUT
Grenache is such an interesting variety. Initially the wine could be confused with a Beaujolais: strawberries and banana lollies all over. However over time this wine has become a serious and complex wine. Sour Cherries and a hint of earthy “sous bois” notes. I love the lightness of Grenache and the freshness of flavours. A wine that will impress.
2017 CARMÉNÈRE - HEATHCOTE - Price 30.00
I fell in love with Carménère when working in Chile. The flavour and depth of the variety are phenomenal. When picked early you get a freshness and savoury note of capsicum. When picked ripe Carménère can be more powerful than Cabernet Sauvignon. This vintage I got it right, the grapes were ripe without losing their savoury note. A wine full of black berries and elderberries also a hint of green peppercorn.

2019 GRANITE SHIRAZ - MOUNT ALEXANDER - Price $27.50
Grown at 600 metre altitude on granitic soils: a great place for a slow and long maturation. Fermented with indigenous yeast, aged in French oak for 12 months. This wine is a great example of an Australian Shiraz from a cool region. Flavours of blueberries and brambles and a hint of allspice.
2018 BALLARAT SYRAH - BALLARAT - Price $30.00
Single vineyard Syrah from a vineyard near Clunes. The grapes where hand picked at the end of March, then fully de-stemmed and fermented using indigenous yeast. The wine was pressed in a wooden basket press and aged 12 months in French Barriques. I love cool climate Syrah, flavours of cherries and savoury hint of sage and a little hint of oak.
2018 BDX II - MOUNT ALEXANDER & BALLARAT - Price $30.00
Made with 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Carmenere. Reflecting the traditional blend of the right bank. The Merlot is from a vineyard in Bendigo and is soft and generous. The Cabernet comes from Ballarat and adds spice and freshness, the Carmenere adds complexity and richness. It like magic mathematics 1+1+1 = 4.

Nebbiolo, a wine for the nobility. Elegant and gracious, with the ability to age for decades. Picked in March, left on skins for one month and aged in French barriques. This is liquid pleasure in a bottle. This fruit driven Nebbiolo is mineral and elegant with flavours of red cherries and a hint of aniseed. Bottled without fining or filtering.
